Learn about the various educational and entertaining programs offered by the members of Have Court, Will Travel

Renaissance Dancing

Led by Queen Catherine, four dances are demonstrated for the audience, and patrons have the opportunity to learn more about why dancing was so popular during this period.

Volunteers are brought up on stage to dance with the nobles and party like it's 1559!

Royal Weaponry

Led by King Edward and Gentlemen of the court, our audiences learn about halberds, spears and long bow and the differences between a broadsword and a rapier, a dagger and a dirk.

In all, more than ten categories of weapons are displayed and discussed, with some audience participation thrown in for those who enjoy sharp, pointy things!

Followed by the opportunity to look closely at all weapons, touch them and have questions answered.

Royal Audience

This program is a real "Who's who" presentation.  Audiences learn about peerages, who outranks whom amongst the nobility and some of the responsibilities performed by members of the royal household.

Following the presentation, the court holds a question and answer period and poses for photos.

Royal Fashion

Led by the knowledgeable Ladies of the court, this show lets audience members see just what it takes  as well has how much time it takes to dress the part of a renaissance noble woman.

Watch and learn as each layer of clothing is put on either with hooks, ties, buttons or clasps.  Followed by a question & answer session.

If your needs are historical in nature, Have Court, Will Travel can provide a visit from Elizabeth I and her court favorites, including William Cecil, Robert Dudley, and more.
